How to play BeerToss?
In short
Two teams of two take turns flicking a cap across the mat. The further the zone, the more sips. First team with two empty pints on the table wins.

Setup
BeerToss is played with 2 teams of 2 players. Each team has 2 drinks and 2 caps, one per player.
Before the start, place the caps on the diagonal lines in the corners. Each player chooses where on that line. Place them top side down. You can see the starting setup in the image above.
Who starts?
The two players on the left side of their team play rock-paper-scissors. The winner takes the first shot. After that, you take turns:
- Player 1 of team 1 shoots.
- The player diagonally opposite (team 2) shoots.
- The next player of team 1.
- Finally, the last player of team 2.
How do you shoot?
You flick your own cap with one finger of your choice. Aim for one of the zones on the other side. Hitting a cap of the other team is allowed. After each shot your cap stays where it stops, unless a special rule says otherwise.
Scoring
Each zone is worth a number of sips:
×2 Upside-down cap
If a cap lands upside down (teeth facing down), the sips for that shot are doubled. 1 → 2, 2 → 4, 3 → 6. If one or more caps land upside down in the reset zone, the reset rule applies only once, no matter how many caps are there.
Reset The reset zone
If your cap lands in the white zone between the two pints, the other team has to finish their drink completely and grab a new one. All other caps on the mat at that moment no longer count.
Drinking sips
Sips you earn are split freely within your team. Points are never subtracted from each other; each team simply drinks what it scored. After each sip, briefly take your drink away from your lips, so the count stays easy to follow.
Joker One per game
Each team has one joker, to be played at any moment. When you play it, all sips of that turn are cancelled, including your own team's. Handy for wiping out an expensive turn by your opponents. Can only be used once per game.
The other team's caps
You may try to knock away one of your opponents' caps.
The game ends as soon as a team has completely finished both drinks. If it's tied, for example both teams have one sip left, whoever empties their drink first wins. You only touch a drink once the last cap of the turn has come to a complete stop. Empty pint on the table: the first team with two empty pints wins.
